Their are many cholesteatoma surgerons that are avaliable. I highly reccommend talking to people in the message boards and getting their opinion about what surgeon you should go to. It is true that some surgerons have done many more procedures than others. My surgeon, the only ENT in the Lewiston Clarkston valley, had done only about 10 in his whole life. NOT good. Make sure to find a good cholesteatoma surgeon who has done many of these procedures and to ask around before going into surgery. Please visit the messgae boards for support and information.
